DOGGONE ACTIVE - MARKA™ Dog Trainer

Sarah and I have been running separate newsletters and we had a bit of an Aha! moment a few weeks ago.

Having five Collies of our own aged 8 months to 14 years old, and if you read our last newsletter where we talked about Zeal and our DOGGONE story.

You’ll know we developed DGSWP to ensure the community had a safe place to exercise their dogs in peace.

There are countless reasons why dog owners choose to use secure dog parks.

We are sure you have your own individual reasons but here are few we know of:

So, we have joined forces!

Sarah will be providing fundamental skills and training tips here in the forthcoming DOGGONE! newsletters with videos and tutorials!

As a well established, effective positive dog trainer with over 15 years of training and teaching experience, she has a lot to offer.

Specialising in dog sports, specifically Dog Agility, but a large part of her work is problem solving, foundation training and behaviour fundamentals.

Sarah has trained with and continues to study under the Mentorships of Di Martin and Kamal Fernadez, both renowned dog trainers world wide.

Di is an advanced instructor under the Kennel Club Accreditation Scheme and a certified Behavioural Adjustment Training (BAT) instructor for aggression and anxiety-based behaviour. She has great experience in solving behavioural problems and works with clients to put in place practical step by step approaches to resolving complex issues. 

Kamal was involved in the Oxford Scientific groundbreaking program 'Dogs Might Fly' which took 12 rescue dogs and taught them to fly a plane!

He has appeared on 'The Secret Life of Dogs', 'The Underdog Show', 'The One Show' and has numerous competitive wins in many categories and disciplines across the globe.

Kamal is an internationally renowned seminar instructor, Kamal has been invited to teach in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Holland, Belgium and Germany, amongst many others. Kamal’s other career highlights include being a Championship Obedience judge and Crufts competitor.
